Daniel Schmidt

Daniel Schmidt is a quantitative researcher at Jump Trading LLC since August 2022, following a role as a model engineer at Ghost from March 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a software engineer for Microsoft from May 2020 to March 2021 and as a quantitative research analyst at Citadel LLC from July 2017 to May 2020. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked as a summer researcher at Macalester College, analyzing satellite data and gaining experience with MATLAB, GIS data, and image processing. Daniel's internship experience includes positions at Jump Trading LLC and Yelp. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College, obtained in 2017.
