Nia Kumi Porter

Nia Kumi Porter is currently serving as the Experiential Learning Coordinator for Junior Achievement North, where responsibilities include coordinating Finance Park and BizTown programs, collaborating with educators and local businesses, and supporting students in financial literacy and entrepreneurship simulations. Prior experience includes a Digital Marketing Intern position at Polaris Inc., where Nia contributed to the MY25 Product Launch and developed an Indian Motorcycles landing page. Additionally, Nia held various roles at the University of St. Thomas, including Marketing Intern, Linkages Mentor, STAR Programming Intern, and served as Shift Manager at sweetgreen and CRISP & GREEN®. Nia began professional experience as a Junior Assistant Accountant II at KPMG in Jamaica. Nia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Marketing and a Minor in Data Analytics from the University of St. Thomas, along with a Certificate of Business Studies from St. Andrew High School for Girls.
