David Schwed serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for Brokerage & Money at Robinhood since August 2024. Additionally, David contributes to the Katz School of Science and Health where David holds multiple roles including Chair of the Cybersecurity Industry Advisory Board, Practitioner in Residence for the Cybersecurity Master's Program, and Professor as well as Founding Director of the same program. David is also an active member of the Cryptocurrency Essentials Committee at the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4) and works as an early-stage investor in several ventures including Lava Network, Utila, Tres.finance, Hexagate, and Onyxia. An expert in computer forensics, cybersecurity, and cryptocurrency, David has provided expert analysis and testimony in various legal matters since February 2014. David earned a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics, and Finance from Empire State University.
