Scott Jacobs

Scott Jacobs is the Co-Founder and CEO of Generate, a prominent sustainable infrastructure platform, a position held since January 2014. Additionally, Jacobs serves on the board of JUST Goods, Inc. and previously co-founded EFW Partners, where Scott worked as Managing Director from September 2012 to December 2018, focusing on global investments in energy, food, and water. Jacobs was instrumental in establishing McKinsey & Company's global CleanTech practice as Co-Founder and Associate Principal from September 2007 to February 2012, advising on energy and resource innovation worldwide. Earlier career roles include serving as an energy and transportation advisor for the Obama-Biden Transition Project, a Senior Associate at Battery Ventures, and the General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at PolyServe, Inc. Scott Jacobs earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Government with a focus on International Relations from Dartmouth College.
