Daniel Kaniewski

Daniel Kaniewski serves as Managing Director of the Public Sector at Marsh McLennan, overseeing corporate strategy and business development across multiple disciplines within the US public sector. In addition, Kaniewski provides advisory services to Juvare, chairs the Committee on Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate at the National Institute of Building Sciences, and has held significant roles at FEMA, OECD, and other institutions focused on resilience and emergency management. Kaniewski's extensive experience includes leading FEMA’s Resilience organization and advising the President of the United States on homeland security policies during critical national emergencies. An educator with a background in public policy and national security, Kaniewski holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration and has contributed to significant disaster resilience initiatives throughout a distinguished career.
