Torben Bech Olesen

Torben Bech Olesen is an experienced logistics and distribution professional, currently serving as the Head of Distribution at JYSK since July 2016, where responsibilities include strategic development of land transport and optimizing customer service. Prior to JYSK, Torben held various roles at GLS Denmark A/S, including Compliance Manager and Head of ParcelShop Department, contributing significantly to management strategy and compliance across Denmark and Finland. Earlier experience includes roles at LEGO System A/S as a Senior Logistics Analyst and Distribution Consultant, and at DPD Denmark A/S as Traffic and System Manager, where operational and logistics setups were enhanced. Torben holds degrees in HD (O) and Ingeniør from the University of Southern Denmark and is currently partaking in the Nordic Executive Leadership Programme.
