Jessica Dirks

Jessica Dirks serves as the Partnership Director at K12 Coalition since December 2024, having previously held key leadership roles including Chief Officer of Legal Affairs & Strategic Initiatives and Chief Officer of Human Resources and Legal Affairs at Ankeny Community School District from May 2020 to December 2024. With extensive experience at TNTP from 2013 to May 2020 as Project Director, Jessica guided multiple large public school systems to improve policies and practices for better student outcomes, while also building strategic plans addressing budgeting and community engagement needs. Notable previous positions include Senior Director at Teaching Trust, Managing Director of District Partnerships at Teach For America, and Models Coordinator at Harris County Department of Education. Jessica has a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rice University.
