Alex Iannicelli

Alex Iannicelli is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and managing complex software systems across various companies. Currently working at Kaart since August 2020, Alex contributes to the Overture Maps Foundation, focusing on creating a comprehensive and accurate map of the earth by building an Airflow pipeline that integrates multiple datasets. Prior to Kaart, Alex held significant roles at IBM, where the design of the network stack for a next-generation cloud infrastructure was a highlight, and at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, contributing to a unique cloud computing model. Additional experience includes leading software development at Emulex Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Trebia Networks, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Alex holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
