Adena Kaplan

Adena Kaplan is an experienced health professional currently serving as Managing Director of Health Engagement Consulting Services at Kaiser Permanente since July 2005, where support is provided to patients in making informed health choices. Previously, Adena held the position of Consulting Director for Health Promotion, contributing to The Permanente Medical Group's regional health education initiatives. Prior to rejoining Kaiser Permanente, Adena worked at Blue Shield of California from 1999 to 2005 as Senior Manager for Disease Management, overseeing a team focused on strategic planning and program development. Adena's career began at Kaiser Permanente as a Health Education Consultant, managing audits and facilitating work groups in pediatric health. Adena holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Women's Studies from Pitzer College.
