Helen Lai

Helen Lai currently serves as a Nursing Administration Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, with experience in multiple departments including Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care Unit since March 2024. Helen also leads a research committee at the Free Clinic Project at UCI, earning the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Research for work related to COVID-19 stressors. Additionally, Helen has contributed as a researcher and manuscript author at UC San Diego's Skaggs School of Pharmacy and has been involved in significant research projects at the J. Craig Venter Institute, focusing on spatial transcriptomics and antibody responses in COVID-19 patients. Helen's educational background includes studies at UC Irvine and Canyon Crest Academy, along with participation in a short stint at San Diego State University.
