Kana`I Akana

Kana`i Akana is a Strategy Consultant at Kamehameha Schools, specializing as a financial analyst for the Food Systems Fund, focusing on investments in Hawaiian companies with a preference for Native Hawaiian founders. Previously, Kana`i was a Student Athlete for the University of Hawaii men's volleyball team, contributing to back-to-back National Championships in 2021 and 2022. Experience includes financial analysis internships at Kamehameha Schools, Trinity Investments, and AKAMAI Finance Academy, as well as serving as Vice President of the Financial Management Association Hawaii and participating in a mentorship program at the Bank of Hawaii. Kana`i holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, following graduation from Punahou School.
