Maria Svärd

Maria Svärd is an experienced regulatory affairs professional with over nine years in the field, currently serving as Regulatory Affairs Manager at Karo Healthcare since May 2020. Previously, Maria held the same title at Trimb Healthcare from July 2017 to May 2020 and worked as a Nordic Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Actavis (now Teva) from June 2014 to July 2017, where responsibilities included coordinating regulatory activities and managing marketing authorization applications. Maria also gained early experience as a Project Student at Biovitrum AB (publ) in 2007 and as a Laboratory Assistant at Arla Foods between 2005 and 2006. Academically, Maria holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Biology from Karolinska Institutet, as well as degrees in Biotechnology and participation in the Stockholm Biomedical Research School.
