Elisabet Andersson has extensive experience in the field of molecular biology, currently serving as the Named Animal Care and Welfare Officer (NACWO), associate professor, and senior scientist at Karolinska Institutet since October 1999. Responsibilities include expertise in mouse and human stem cell biology, development of transgenic and knockout mouse models, immuno/in situ histochemistry, supervision of graduate students, and university-level teaching and lab management. Prior experience as a postdoctoral fellow at NIH/Bethesda and Lund University involved research on hematopoietic stem cells and hands-on work with transgene/knockout mouse models, FACS, and bone marrow transplantation, along with teaching and student supervision.
