Harri Alenius

Harri Alenius is a distinguished academic in the field of molecular toxicology, currently serving as a Professor in Molecular Toxicology at Karolinska Institutet. Previously, Alenius held the position of Research Director at the Medical Faculty of the University of Helsinki and served as a Research Professor at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, where responsibilities included leading the Systems Toxicology Unit and acting as Vice-Director of the Nanosafety Research Center. In addition, Alenius was the Head of the Immunotoxicology Unit and Chief of the Laboratory of Immunotoxicology at the same institute. Early in the career, Alenius gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Children's Hospital.
