Ryne Head

Ryne Head, M.S., serves as a Mental Performance Consultant at The University of Texas Permian Basin since February 2023 and continues to engage as a Teacher/Coach at Katy ISD since May 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Special Education Teacher and Football & Baseball Coach at Fort Bend ISD from July 2020 to July 2023, along with significant contributions at Austin Independent School District from August 2014 to July 2020 as the Physical Education & Health Department Head and various coaching positions in football and baseball. Ryne's expertise extends to motivational speaking and mentoring for college-bound baseball players during tenure with Turn Two Tournaments from 2017 to 2020. Additional coaching experience includes a brief contract role with the Austin Gold Sox and instructional coaching at D-BAT Sports in summer 2014. Ryne holds a Master of Science in Sports and Exercise Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, both from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
