Julie Byrne

Julie Byrne is an experienced music educator currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher at Blue Valley School District since May 2018. In addition, Julie has been a Pet Sitter/Walker for Pet Pals KC, LLC since March 2022 and volunteers at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts since September 2019. Previous roles include teaching music at Barstow School from May 2005 to May 2018, including a position as Music & Movement Teacher from 2005 to 2013. Julie's teaching experience extends to private music lessons and serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where courses included "Elementary Music Methods" and "Introduction to Visual Art, Dance, and Drama." Julie's professional background includes a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Teacher Education from Kansas State University.
