Ashley L. Johnson

Ashley L. Johnson is an accomplished professional in event management and programming, currently serving as the Head of Event Design at Kayo Conference Series since May 2022. In this role, Ashley leads the design of over 12 events annually, developing technical industry content and engaging audiences as an emcee. Previously, as the Director of Event Programming at Old Dominion University, Ashley successfully managed community engagement initiatives and adapted events during the COVID-19 pandemic. With experience as an Event Manager at SevenVenues and Special Events Project Manager at the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Ashley possesses a strong background in coordinating diverse events, managing logistics, and cultivating donor relationships. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia, a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the same institution.
