Vernon McDonald

Vernon McDonald is an experienced leader in the fields of science, technology, and engineering, currently serving as an Advisor for Government Solutions at KBR, Inc. since April 2017, and previously as Senior Vice President. From May 1993 to March 2017, McDonald held various positions at KBRwyle, including President of the Science, Technology and Engineering Group, where responsibilities included profit and loss management, business development, and strategic planning. Earlier roles included Vice President and General Manager of the ST&E Group, Vice President of the Science & Health Division, and Vice President of Federal R&D. McDonald has a strong background in the aerospace sector, with experience as Director, Commercial Human Spaceflight, and Manager of the Space Medicine Group at NASA, contributing significantly to support services for astronaut missions. McDonald holds an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business and advanced degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
