Ruth Gorrell

Ruth Gorrell is an experienced nursing and education professional with extensive roles in academia and healthcare. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Kean University and a Clinical Instructor at Ocean County College since September 2011, Ruth has combined teaching responsibilities with practical healthcare experiences. Ruth has a long-standing position as a Substitute School Nurse and Teacher within the Lacey Township School District since 1987, focusing on medication dispensing, emergency care, and lesson plan implementation. Previous roles include MDS Coordinator at multiple care facilities, such as Shorrock Garden Care Center, Kensington Manor, and Holiday Care Center, where responsibilities included maximizing reimbursements and ensuring compliance with regulations.
