Karl Asmar

Karl Asmar, MD, currently serves as a Consultant at Kearney since February 2024. Previously, Karl held the position of Associate at Strategy& Middle East from March 2022 to January 2024. Prior to that, Karl was the Medical Core Team Lead at Medicus AI between August 2019 and March 2022. Karl's early career included a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at AUBMC from June 2017 to June 2019, focusing on research projects related to pediatric MRI techniques, CT scan protocols, PET/CT, nuclear medicine clinical impact, and Artificial Intelligence in Radiology. Karl earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the American University of Beirut in 2017, a Minor in Chemistry from Université de Montréal in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from McGill University in 2012. Education was initiated with a French Baccalaureat in Science De La Vie et De La Terre from College Notre-Dame de Jamhour in 2008.
