Thomas W. (TW) Langevin practices in the Business Representation & Transactions Group where he assists public and private companies in the federal income tax and business planning areas. TW's practice involves individual, corporate, S corporation, and partnership tax planning, including advising clients in real estate and opportunity zone transactions. TW counsels clients on the tax aspects of business formation, corporate governance, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and business exits. TW also has experience assisting clients with state and local tax issues and the formation of non-profit entities and granting of exempt status by the IRS.
Prior to joining KMK Law, TW was an associate at a full service business law firm based in Dayton, Ohio where he counseled clients on tax and general corporate matters. TW obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, magna cum laude. He also graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Arkansas State University, magna cum laude.
