Olamide Afolayan

Olamide (Ola) Afolayan is an accomplished food safety and regulatory professional with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as Director of Global Food Safety & Regulatory at Kellanova since October 2023, Olamide previously held leadership roles at Kellogg Company from September 2014 to October 2023, including Director of Global Food Safety and Regulatory and Senior Manager of Global Quality Capability Development. Olamide's career also includes positions as Quality and Food Safety Manager, Corporate Quality Manager, Food Safety Technical Partner, and Associate Food Safety Scientist at Kellogg, alongside research roles at the University of Georgia, MillerCoors, and the University of Botswana. Olamide holds a Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Georgia, complemented by a Master of Science in Food Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science/Chemistry.
