Eva Mª Pérez Carbonell

Eva Malessa is a Junior Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, focusing on technology-enhanced literacy training for low-literate and non-literate adults learning Finnish as a second language. Malessa has contributed to the AllRead project, which evaluates the effectiveness of the GraphoLearn technology in supporting literacy development. Previous roles include teaching English for Academic Purposes at INTO Newcastle University and facilitating language classes at Newcastle University. Malessa holds a Master's degree in Linguistics and Language Acquisition from Newcastle University and has a background in Finnish, English, and German language and culture from the University of Jyväskylä and Universität Greifswald. Additionally, Malessa has experience in leading summer camps and translating freelance.
