Brooke Carroll

Brooke Carroll is the Director at Kendal. Brooke previously worked as the Lead Consultant at Brooke Carroll Consulting and as the Head of School at Seneca Academy.

At Brooke Carroll Consulting, Brooke worked with educators to meet governance, planning, accreditation, curricular, social and strategy needs.

At Seneca Academy, Brooke was responsible for all aspects of a preschool through elementary independent school. This included hiring, evaluating and professional development for a staff of 30, managing a $1.7 million budget, serving as liaison to the Board of Trustees, overseeing the implementation of the academic and social curricula for 155 students and ensuring a safe, healthy and aesthetically pleasing building and grounds.

Major accomplishments during their time at Seneca Academy include facilitating the process of becoming an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program World School, implementing two school-wide Strategic Plans, leading the school community through a self-evaluation process for re-accreditation, enhancing the faculty professional development program, re-writing elementary curricula, establishing administrative handbooks and ensuring fiscal viability and strength through the economic downturn.

Brooke Carroll started their educational career by earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bates College. Brooke then pursued a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
