Miguel Santana

Miguel Santana is an experienced professional in the Energy-from-Waste sector, currently serving as the Head of Performance at FCC Environment since February 2022, where responsibilities include enhancing the performance of the Energy-from-Waste fleet. Prior roles include Operations Manager at Cory and FCC Environment, leading operational management and performance improvement initiatives for energy plants. Miguel's career also encompasses extensive experience in production and process engineering at companies such as Sthalglass and Grupo Electrofer, alongside a background that includes a traineeship at Maxit-Argilas Expandidas and part-time work at the University of Aveiro. Miguel holds an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School and a degree in Material Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro.
