Bradley J. Halverson

Bradley J. Halverson is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Assistant Director for Staffing and Development at Kent State University since July 2017, where responsibilities include managing the recruitment, selection, training, and development of a workforce of over 200 employees. Previously, Bradley held the position of Residence Hall Director, overseeing the daily operations of two residence halls with more than 500 residents. Prior to Kent State, Bradley worked at Kansas State University as the Assistant Coordinator for Departmental Initiatives, leading special projects in Housing and Dining Services, including oversight of the Smurthwaite Scholarship and Leadership house. Academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Kent State University, a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Central Michigan University.
