Matt McPherson

Matt McPherson currently serves as the Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Transfer and Gap Year Admissions at Kenyon College since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, where McPherson advanced from Senior Assistant Director of Admissions to Director of Recruitment, leading the undergraduate enrollment team and directing brand messaging. Additional positions held include Senior Admissions Counselor at Nazarene Theological Seminary and Admissions Recruiter at Olathe College Church of the Nazarene. Early career experience includes serving as Associate Youth Pastor and VP of Christian Life at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, alongside a youth ministry internship. McPherson holds a Master of Arts in Christian Formation and Discipleship from Nazarene Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
