Steven van Alfen

Steven van Alfen currently holds the position of Lid Algemeen Bestuur at EUREGIO since June 2024 and works as a chauffeur for buurtbus De Lutte - Oldenzaal at Arriva Nederland since December 2022. Involvement in politics includes serving as a forum member and fractiepenningmeester for D66 Oldenzaal since November 2018 and candidacy for Statenlid in Overijssel during both the 2019 and 2023 elections. Steven has been the chairman of Milieuoverleg Oldenzaal since 2003 and briefly sought a position as a bestuurslid at Waterschap Vechtstromen in early 2023. Prior to current roles, Steven spent over three decades in project management at Eaton, focusing on high-voltage products and field service support. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Energietechniek from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and technical education from various institutions.
