Sergi Alvarez

Sergi Alvarez is an experienced professional in the fields of research and development, business development, and application engineering, currently serving as the Development and Application Director for Central Europe at Kerry since December 2017. Previously, Sergi held multiple roles at Danone from June 2011 to November 2017, including Senior R&D Manager for Danone Dairy Europe. Prior to Danone, Sergi worked as an R&D Technologist at PepsiCo and as a Process/Product Developer at Wrigley Co, S.L.U. Sergi began academic contributions as a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in late 2007, following an advanced education in Biotechnology and Food Chemistry and Engineering from MIT and Institut Químic de Sarrià, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
