Fan Zhang

Research Scientist at Kessler Foundation

Fan Zhang is an accomplished research scientist currently at Kessler Foundation since August 2018, with a focus on innovative neural decoding algorithms for robotic arm control. Concurrently, Fan serves as a Research Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School since February 2019. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory and involvement in various educational roles, including guest lecturer and teaching assistant. Fan's academic background includes Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tianjin University and Tianjin Medical University, respectively.
