Tracy Boger currently teaches university level education courses and college prep math courses in the Department of Education and Academic Upgrading. She started her teaching career in 1996 and taught K-12 students in many different communities including Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Cold Lake, and Krakow, Poland. When Tracy Joined the college in 2013 she already had several years of experience teaching post-secondary education courses. Tracy has a MEd in the area of Instructional Technology and she completed her PhD from the University of Alberta in 2018. She also previously worked as the Technology Professional Development (Tech PD) Coordinator for the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. In that role she managed a team of Tech PD facilitators who provided pedagogical support to faculty in the use of technology for both teaching and research. Tracy has presented her work in venues such as the Canadian E-Learning Conference, ETCATA’s Teacher2Teacher Technofest, Campus Computing Conference, and most notably the EdMedia World Conference in Vienna, Austria. She also previously worked at Keyano College in the roles of the Acting Chair of the Suncor Educational Technology Center (SETC), SETC Mentor, and Education Coordinator.
