Elisabeth Centeno Lopez

Elisabeth Centeno Lopez is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in immigration law and advocacy. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Managing Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since December 2017, Elisabeth has also held positions as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, a Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. Elisabeth's earlier roles include immigration staff attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services and various fellowships and externships at prestigious organizations. Elisabeth earned a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School, focusing on Feminist Studies, Critical Race Theory, and Civil Rights, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Stanford University.
