Sebastian Borek

Sebastian Borek is a German entrepreneur and business advisor. Sebastian is currently an advisor at Kienbaum, and has previously worked for STOCKMEIER Gruppe, IPAI - Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence, Peruya, SPREAD GmbH, Kienbaum, ModelManagement.com, and Hinterland of Things.

Borek has always been interested in business and entrepreneurship. Sebastian founded their first company, Borek media GmbH, while still in college. After graduation, they went on to work for various startups and tech companies before eventually becoming a founding partner at Visionary Ventures GmbH.

In 2017, Borek co-founded the Hinterland of Things, a leadership summit that brings together entrepreneurs, VCs, and executives to discuss the opportunities for a new digital Mittelstand in Germany. The summit has been a huge success, and Borek is currently working on plans for the 2022 edition.

Sebastian Borek has a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, an MBA from the University of St.Gallen, and executive education from INSEAD. Sebastian also has an Abitur in art and English from Schule Schloss Salem.
