Hunter Kirkwood

Hunter Kirkwood is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in project management and estimating in the construction industry. Currently serving as Lead Estimator at Kiewit since May 2020, Hunter previously held positions as Project Engineer at Kraemer North America, where involvement included managing the I-25 South Gap Project, and as Project Manager at Granite Construction, contributing to projects such as the Moosa Canyon Erosion Control Project and UC San Diego Pedestrian Bridge. Earlier experience at Kiewit included roles as Superintendent and Field Engineer on various projects, alongside foundational experience in carpentry and leadership in outdoor activities at Tom Sawyer Camps, Inc. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
