Hasan Babaei

Hasan Babaei is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and drug discovery, currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Kimia Therapeutics since December 2023. Before this role, Hasan held the position of Senior Engineer and ML & AI Scientist at Totus Medicines from May 2022 to December 2023. Academic experience includes a Project Scientist role at the University of California, Berkeley, from May 2019 to May 2022, as well as postdoctoral positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. Hasan also served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University and the University of Tehran. Educational credentials comprise a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
