Shaila Rahman Diwan

Shaila Rahman Diwan is a Partner at King & Spalding since February 2020, with a focus on commercial, securities, and white-collar litigation. Diwan has concurrently served as a 2020 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and a member of the New York City Bar Justice Fund Board of Directors. Prior to King & Spalding, Diwan held the position of Attorney and Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from September 2012, preceded by an attorney role at Mayer Brown from October 2007 to September 2012. Diwan's early legal experience includes a summer associate position at Mayer Brown LLP and a legal internship at the Sylvia Rivera Law Project. Diwan holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Binghamton University.
