Ali Alyabes

Ali Alyabes is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in public budgeting and financial management. Currently serving as the Deputy Minister for Public Budget at the Ministry of Finance in Saudi Arabia since April 2019, Ali leads the overall budgeting process and supervises management within the Deputyship. Prior roles include Assistant Deputy Minister for Budget Evaluation & Execution, where Ali developed budgetary principles and strategies, and General Manager for Budget Planning & Execution in both the Economical Resources and Military & Security sectors. Ali's earlier experience at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia encompassed roles such as Head of Finance and Finance Manager, overseeing extensive contracts and financial operations. With an MBA in Finance from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Portland State University, Ali combines financial acumen with analytical skills.
