David Walton

David Walton currently serves as the Head of Upper School at King's College Doha since August 2023. Prior to this role, David held the position of Head of Secondary at Newton British Academy from August 2021 to September 2023, and at Doha British School from September 2020 to August 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing school growth and implementing a quality assurance system for teaching and learning. David also served as Assistant Head of School at Doha British School from September 2017 to July 2020, focusing on pastoral care and consistency across the secondary school. Earlier experience includes roles as Head of House and PE Teacher at South Hunsley Secondary School from September 2013 to July 2017 and as a PE Teacher from September 2010 to July 2013. David obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Physical Education from Leeds Beckett University in 2010.
