Rodney (Rod) Zech is a Senior Advisor of Finance & Operations at Kinzie Capital Partners. In addition to supporting technology implementation and improvement efforts for Kinzie’s portfolio companies, Rod advises on the finance and accounting functions for Kinzie and supports various legal and operational matters.
Rod is also a Founder and Managing Partner at Clarity Partners, a high growth management and technology consulting firm, where he is responsible for all operations, financial oversight and service delivery.
Throughout his consulting career, Rod has specialized in IT strategy, project management, performance measurement, business process redesign, financial analysis, software system implementations and operations assessments and improvements. He has successfully managed and directed over 100 management and technology consulting projects. He also has extensive experience in financial management.
Prior to founding Clarity Partners, Rod served as a Principal and COO of Catalyst Consulting Group where he managed the IT consulting firm’s business development and service delivery functions. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at KPMG where he assisted clients with complex domestic and international tax issues.
Rod received a B.S. in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Wisconsin and graduated cum laude with a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. He is a licensed member of the Illinois Bar and a Certified Public Accountant.
Rod enjoys running, traveling, spending time with his family and craft beer.
