Tessa Catlett is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in K-12 education. Currently serving as the Founding School Leader at KIPP Chicago since August 2015, Tessa has previously held the roles of Assistant Principal and Founding 5th and 3rd Grade Teacher at the same organization. Tessa's career began with Teach For America as a Corps Member from August 2011 to July 2013. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Michigan (2007-2011).
