Derrick Cordova

Derrick Cordova, MBA, currently serves as the School Operations Manager at KIPP NYC since July 2023. Derrick has been involved with projectBASTA as a Basta Alumni since December 2020, participating in a fellowship program for first-generation college students. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Operations Associate and Operations Associate at Success Academy Charter Schools from June 2021 to June 2023, and serving as Recreational Soccer Site Coordinator at South Bronx United from January 2021 to June 2021, where responsibilities included outreach and operation management. Derrick has also been an Assistant Soccer Coach and Mentor at Sugar Maple Athletics, and contributed to Teachers College, Columbia University as a member of the DigiQ team, focusing on digitizing historical records. Education includes an MBA from the University of Mount Saint Vincent, and a BBA in Sports Management from the same institution.
