Sulamita Mora

Sulamita Mora is an experienced social work professional with a robust background in staff wellness, professional learning, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Manager of Staff Wellness and Professional Learning at KIPP Texas Public Schools since September 2021, Sulamita previously held the position of Project CARE Program Manager at The East Austin College Preparatory At Mlk from August 2018 to July 2021, where contributions included managing a $1.6 million budget, implementing restorative practices, and developing a mental health services hub, leading to significant improvements in school climate and discipline referrals. Earlier roles included Director of Social Services and Community Engagement at The Austin Project and Case Manager at Refugee Services of Texas, where responsibilities involved community coordination, case management, and establishing partnerships to enhance service delivery. Sulamita holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin.
