Frank Smits

Frank Smits has extensive experience in customs and logistics, currently serving as a senior customs declarant at KLG Europe since December 2014. Previously, Frank held the position of Customs teamleader at UTC Fire & Security B.V from September 2012 to December 2014, where responsibilities included AEO, GPA monthly declarations, and serving as the first contact for customs issues. Frank's career in customs began as a declarant at Frans Maas BV from March 1980 to March 1992, followed by a role as a customs specialist at Geodis from August 1992 to March 2012, encompassing all customs-related activities. Frank's educational background includes a degree in logistics from Gilde opleidingen Venlo and training as a declarant.
