Vipul Rai is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in developing scalable data solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Knab since June 2024, Vipul previously held the position of Principal - Data Engineering/Architect at Metyis, where significant contributions included leading the development of an IoT platform for shrimp farming and designing a flexible data sharing system. Prior roles include Senior Analytics Engineer at SmartNomad, Big Data Consultant at Activision Blizzard, and various consulting and analytical positions at Affine, Expedia Group, and AIG, focusing on data optimization, predictive maintenance, and enhancing system efficiencies. Vipul holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.
