Tjep Hoedemakers is currently a PhD candidate at UMC Utrecht, focusing on research related to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and managing the TROTS registry to include patients with various forms of the condition. Tjep also serves as a professional athlete with the KNHB and HC Rotterdam. Additionally, Tjep has experience as a research assistant at Erasmus MC, studying knee rotational stability after anterior cruciate ligament injuries, and previously worked as a medical assistant at Huisartsen Pleinwegpraktijk. Tjep earned a Bachelor's degree in General Medicine and completed a minor in Orthopedic Sports Traumatology at Erasmus University Rotterdam, following completion of secondary education at Lorentz Casimir Lyceum.
