Karl Schoen-Rene

Karl Schoen-Rene has extensive experience in the field of IT security and audit, currently serving as the Director of IT Security at Knights of Columbus since October 2003. In this role, Karl oversees all aspects of IT security within a multinational insurance company managing over 6 billion in coverage, focusing on infrastructure, cyber, web, mobile, and legacy applications, as well as disaster recovery strategies. Prior to this position, Karl held various roles at MassMutual Financial Group from October 1993 to October 2003, including Director of IT Audit. Karl's educational background includes an MBA in Information Systems and Accounting from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Oberlin College, and a Registered Nursing degree from CT State Capital.
