Vishal Jain

Vishal Jain is currently an advisor at KoiReader. Prior to that, they were a general partner at Forepont Capital Partners from January 2017 to December 2020. Before that, they were with Freyeur & Trogue. Before that, they were at Mobius Biomedical.

From January 2013 to December 2017, Mr. Jain was Senior Vice President and Executive Director with Mizuho Corporate Bank USA and Mizuho Securities USA, focusing on healthcare (pharma / biotech / instruments / diagnostics) and cleantech sectors. In this role, they advised on mergers & acquisitions, IPOs, capital structure, risk management, interest rate swaps, foreign exchange hedging, securitization and credit analysis.

From January 2007 to December 2013, Mr. Jain worked as a director at UBS Investment Bank with a focus on the life sciences, biotech, pharma, analytical tools and diagnostics sectors. Vishal also had a focus on the clean technology (cleantech) and renewable energy sectors.

Prior to that, Mr. Jain was a consultant at Satyam from January 2000 to December 2004.

Vishal Jain has an MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology Surat.
