Andrew Berkowitz

Andrew Berkowitz currently serves as the Senior Regional Director and General Manager for the East Coast at Kokua Education since June 2023, following a role as the Senior Director of Growth and Customer Onboarding. Prior to that, Andrew was a Senior Recruiter at McKinsey & Company from February 2022 to March 2023, where responsibilities included co-leading the Practice Center of Excellence and managing full-cycle recruitment for financial practices. Andrew's extensive experience also includes various roles at Teach For America from June 2013 to February 2022, including Managing Director and Recruitment Director, where achievements included sustaining Emory University as the top contributing campus for three consecutive years. Earlier in the career, Andrew was the World Language Department Chair at Atlanta Public Schools, enhancing instructional rigor and coaching a successful varsity tennis team. Andrew earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government as well as Spanish from the University of Delaware.
