Vilma Schonwetter

Vilma Schonwetter holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from The New School and a Bachelor of Science in Technical and Professional Communications from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. As the Senior Talent Manager at Kokua Education since October 2023, Vilma focuses on addressing teacher absences through a network of committed guest teachers. Prior to this role, Vilma spent nearly 14 years at Year Up, ascending from Associate Director of Career and Alumni Services to the Director of Talent Scouting, where responsibilities included developing a talent scouting culture, aligning recruitment efforts with organizational goals, and enhancing the candidate pipeline.
