Cory Kowitz

Cory Kowitz is an experienced meteorologist currently working at KOLD 13 News since May 2023. Kowitz previously served as a weather broadcaster at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the student-run newscast "Carolina Week" from September 2021 to June 2023. Additional internship experiences include roles at Sinclair Broadcast Group National Weather Desk, WJLA-TV, WBAL-TV11, Inc., and the Baltimore Orioles, reflecting a diverse range of practical training in meteorology and broadcasting. Kowitz holds a degree from North Carolina State University, completed in 2023.
